In April 1998 the Trends Media Group gets the license from Cosmopolitan magazine and continues their "TRENDS LADY" magazine as "TRENDS COSMOPOLITAN".  The "Trends Gentleman" magazine remains unchanged and also continues to be published along with women's "Trends Cosmopolitan" under the same numeration. The april 1998 issue is #39, though it is #1 as Trends Cosmopolitan name.

Next, it goes classic way, 2 issues per month, one Cosmopolitan and one Trends Gentleman are still published. Later the Trends Gentleman renamed into Trends Esquire magazine.
